A service rig is a versatile equipment used by the oil and natural gas industry throughout the work. This equipment is used to ensure that the oil or natural gas well is flowing effectively. Towards the end of the life of a well, the well is to be disposed of properly, which is known as abandonment. Generally, a service rig is used on the same oil well for about seven to eight times before the abandonment of the well.
